Big E – Union Station shuttle bus schedule

Pickup locations

At Springfield Union Station

When you arrive in Springfield proceed to the main waiting room and then look for the passageway with the words Intercity Buses.

Proceed down this passageway to the intercity bus berths, where you will fine the Big E Shuttle — which is operated by Peter Pan Bus Lines this year — on Berth 24.

At the Big E

Passengers should proceed to the Transportation Center, which is located behind the State of Maine Building on the Avenue of the States.

On the fence about taking the train?

Consider these points —

1. Why not let someone else do the driving this year?

2. The Big E shuttle buses bypass most of the traffic on Memorial Drive by accessing the fair grounds via a special entrance that is not open to the public.

3. CTrail and Amtrak trains are never delayed in Big E traffic!

4. Traffic on Saturday’s during the Big E is horrendous! (see the Google traffic map below from 2018)
